Jack Soren is a wave-surfing, graffiti-spraying, mural-painting, Native Hawaiian artist. As a child, he spent most of his time at the beach surfing . As a teenager, he spent most of his time spray painting ditches, falling in love with artistry and the painted figure. Today, he utilizes the lessons, techniques, and nuances of these two passions to create diverse, multifaceted works of art.
Jack has been commissioned for major brands like Vans and Hawaiian Airlines. His work can be found everywhere from POW! WOW! Hawaii and SprayseeLA to even social influencer Bretman Rock’s house.
As a Native Hawaiian, Jack understands the responsibility in applying his lineage to the work that he creates. In reworking postcard art of “vintage” Hawai’i, he denies the foreign commercialization of those postcard images and aims to capture an authentic depiction of the 808. With surfy vibes and colorful canvases, his work is always guaranteed to catch your eye.
