OPEN POSITIONS:

  • Position Description & Responsibilities:

    We're is looking for a versatile and organized Content and Program Coordinator to support RiseHI. This role involves creating and curating written content, managing communications with funders and organizers, and coordinating project logistics. While this position is primarily remote, there may be opportunities for hybrid work depending on the project needs.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Content Management:

      • Create and manage blog posts and email newsletters.

      • Oversee media revisions and updates, including guides, workbooks and other publishing assets.

      • Collaborate with designers to create published assets.

    • Administrative Duties:

      • Serve as the primary point of contact for funders and organizers, handling customer support inquiries.

      • Schedule and coordinate meetings with funders and organizers.

      • Manage workbook orders, shipments, and inventory.

    • Written Communication:

      • Assist in creating educational workbooks.

      • Analyze content and interviews to identify key takeaways and contribute to module development.

      • Curate content for newsletters and blog posts.

    Position Requirements:

    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

    • Excellent written communication skills, with experience in content creation and curation.

    • Ability to work independently in a remote environment, with occasional in-person meetings as needed.

    • Flexibility and adaptability to changing project needs.

    Desired Skills:

    • Experience with blog post creation, email newsletter management, and content curation.

    • Familiarity with project coordination, including scheduling and inventory management.

    • Proficiency in working with designers to update and revise media assets.

  • Position Description & Responsibilities:

    RiseHI is seeking a talented and dedicated Curriculum Video Editor to join our team. This role will focus on editing educational curriculum videos for our Make IT Happen and 'Oihana Career Explorations programs, separate from our social media initiatives.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Edit curriculum videos for the Make IT Happen and 'Oihana Career Exploration programs, tailoring content to middle and high school students.

    • Scrub through extensive interviews and b-roll footage to craft strong, compelling stories that resonate with younger audiences.

    • Collaborate with the team to maintain a consistent style and vision across all videos, aligning with program goals.

    • Ensure all videos meet RiseHI’s quality standards and effectively communicate key messages.

    Position Requirements:

    • Proven experience in video editing, particularly in educational or informative content.

    • Ability to sift through large amounts of footage, including interviews and b-roll, to identify and craft compelling narratives.

    • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment.

    • Passion for education and RiseHI's mission to inspire Hawai'i's youth.

    Desired Skills:

    • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or similar editing software.

    • Strong storytelling ability, with an understanding of how to create engaging, informative content for students.

    • Experience in educational or documentary-style video editing.

    • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

    Level of Experience:

    • Intermediate to advanced experience in video editing, with a focus on storytelling and education.

  • Position Description & Responsibilities:

    RiseHI is seeking a creative media storyteller to produce engaging content for various social media channels including Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. Utilize existing interview footage of local Hawaiian creators, entrepreneurs, and changemakers to inspire Hawaii's youth.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Produce short videos for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube.

    • Create educational graphics and illustrations.

    • Write compelling copy for social media posts.

    • Sort and manage RISEHI's extensive footage library.

    • Brainstorm new lessons, ideas, and themes.

    • Produce well-researched case studies on local videos.

    • Foster a collaborative and creative work environment.

    • Stay updated with Slack, email, and other communication channels.

    Position Requirements:

    • Passion for social media and content creation.

    • Previous experience in online content creation.

    • Strong skills in visual storytelling and content development.

    • Ability to work collaboratively and independently.

    Desired Skills:

    • Proficiency in digital media and graphic design.

    • Must have access to and demonstrate proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.

    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
