Fear is the single biggest thing that holds us back from reaching our goals. Our fear of failure, not being good enough, smart enough, talented enough, can cause us to stay still rather than work toward success. So we play it safe and avoid taking risks. But fear is a natural feeling. Fear might be a part of the journey, but it is never the whole story.
Think back to the time when you were first learning how to swim or ride a bike. The idea might have seemed scary at first, but with time and practice, you were able to overcome those feelings and conquer your fears.
It doesn’t matter how many times you have failed, because with every failure you have gained courage. Never let your fears stop you from going after what you want in life.
