RiseHI’s 2024 Wrapped

As we get ready to ring in 2025, it’s the perfect moment to pause and reflect on how far RiseHI has come.

What started as a vision in 2016 to empower our keiki through kamaʻāina stories has expanded into so much more. RiseHI is a testament to what can be achieved when our Hawaiʻi community comes together with purpose, passion, and determination.

Thanks to our generous donors, we’re able to reach new milestones as a nonprofit and shape the lives of our keiki. Here’s a look back at what we accomplished together.

We launched two new programs.

  • “Make It Happen” is a curriculum that offers a culturally responsive and place-based approach to enhancing Advisory classes in Hawai'i, focusing on social-emotional learning and positive mindset development

  • ‘Oihana Career Explorations is our scalable learning platform that facilitates career explorations featuring expert insights from Hawai'i-based professionals

We implemented the curriculum across the islands.

Thanks to our partnering educators, RiseHI’s programs are utilized by:

  • Kapa‘a Middle School

  • Niu Valley Middle School

  • Saint Louis School

  • Waimea High School

We held two fundraising events.

  • Educators, RiseHI interview guests, and supporters we’re invited to Romer Waikiki for our Kūkulu event

Mahalo to our donors in 2024

None of this would have been possible without the generous support of our donors. Your commitment to our mission has been a cornerstone of our success. Special thanks to:

Looking Ahead

While we celebrate these accomplishments, we also look ahead to 2025 with renewed energy and determination. There is still much work to be done, but we are confident that, together, we can continue to make meaningful progress.

As we move forward, we invite you to stay connected, get involved, and share in the journey. Your involvement, whether through attending our events or spreading the word about RiseHI, makes all the difference.

Thank you for being an integral part of our community. Together, we are empowering our keiki to pursue their passions and become valuable contributors to their communities.

Mahalo and Hauʻoli lā hānau!
